For those who are joining the Absolute Beginners online embroidery class (you can sign up here) I have put together a starter pack of items that we will use throughout the class.

The benefit of buying the pack is that we have sourced all of the items for you, but of course it could be cheaper for you to source personally, locally to you and I have listed the items in greater detail in the course content so that you can go shopping!

The only Stitchery exclusive items to this pack are the needleminder, antique linen and little Stitchery bag.

The kit contains:

• Fat 1/4 of 14 count Aida fabric in white:

• Fat 1/4 of antique linen (optional for class)

• Fat 1/4 of new quilting cotton.

• Fat 1/4 of medium-weight fusible interfacing stabiliser

• Approx 20 cm of Bondaweb:

• Both a 4" wooden embroidery hoop and a 6" wooden embroidery hoop

• A small pair of embroidery scissors with sharp, pointy, tips. (The stork ones that we include are absolute classics and most stitchers have a pair!)

• Approx 2m of cotton apron tape 1cm thick.

• Three skeins of DMC stranded embroidery floss in red, white and blue. I will be using red, white and blue for the demonstrations and you will be advised of the colours to buy for the printable patterns.
