This is the second in the Elf series for the Stitchery - the first of which you can find here.

It’ s a time consuming but satisfying stitch made of mostly satin stitch and split stitch.

In this kit you will find a 10”+ square piece of antique linen hand printed with the design.

You will need to have a simple sewing kit to include small, sharp, embroidery scissors, an assorted packet of embroidery/crewel needles and an embroidery hoop.

The finished design is approx 18cm high and 18cm wide ; it’s one of our bigger designs and if you want use a hoop to frame it (for hoop art) then you will need a 9” hoop.

When embroidering the kit using a smaller hoop then remember to remove the linen from the hoop after each session to avoid marking or creasing the linen!

Note; because we antique linen then there will be variation in the colour, texture and weight from piece to piece.

All of our kits have been completed by complete beginners but we do rate our kits on a scale of 1-3 to help you
