Designed for my visit to New England this year (a trip I have always wanted to make), this pretty Autumnal scene captures the vivid colours of the season in a fun and simple embroidery.

With careful placement of a few simple stitches (well, a lot of French knots) you can create a beautiful textural scene to frame or use within a functional item - whatever is your thing! The important part is to set aside time for yourself to be quiet, peaceful and still. Slow down the clock and have a few minutes to be creative - it’s a great piece to practise your watercolour onto fabric too.

The kit includes printed antique linen (10” square) with a generously filled thread card and full instructions. It also contains the fabric for applique and a little fusible web. You will need to use your own watercolour paints for this kit - four colours are required and we recommend the Winsor and Newton professional OR Cotman range (a small Cotman set will cost about £15 and last several years!)
