The Little Green Door design is the logo for my first business venture after I left the bank.

I sold cosy homewares and candles from home and then started to sell my needlework.

The logo translated so well into embroidery that I couldn’t resist and would use the framed linen as my shop sign at brocantes and fairs. I am so happy to now be able to offer it as an embroidery kit.

the design is approx 12cm by 10cm on a piece of 10" sq linen. The Door is provided on a separate piece of linen 9cm by 5cm.

Note; because we antique linen then there will be variation in the colour, texture and weight from piece to piece.

The embroidery involves just a few very simple stitches with French knots being the trickiest to attempt so I would say that it is suitable for beginners.

It includes a little applique for the door and I gave the appearance of foliage using my machine, but this can easily be done by hand too.
