Floral hearts remain one of my favourite designs to stitch. I like to choose the colour palette first and make up the designs as I go along, adding different blooms here and there as I fancy.

A floral heart can be so easily personalised with a date, initials or name inside or around the heart.

With this in mind I thought it would be nice to create a floral heart that beginners can tackle easily - I hope that you enjoy stitching it as much as I do.

The kit includes a 10” square piece of hand-printed antique linen together with the threads and instructions required to complete the pattern.

Note; because we antique linen then there will be variation in the colour, texture and weight from piece to piece.

You will need to have a simple sewing kit to include small, sharp, embroidery scissors, an assorted packet of embroidery/crewel needles and an embroidery hoop. 

The finished heart is approx 3.5” at both of its widest points.

All of our kits have been completed by complete beginners but we do rate our kits on a scale of 1-3 to help you
