Christmas in July 2027 - Week Non-Residential Retreat

£895.00

Starting Friday 23rd July 6pm - 8pm Meet and Greet. Ending 3pm on Friday 30th July (World Embroidery Day).

Held at my studio, here in Ecton, Northamptonshire. Close to Wellingborough and Northampton train stations.

Christmas in July sounds bonkers but when you’re a maker you need to get a headstart on all things handmade! That’s why we introduced our Christmas in July stitching workshops.

Come and join us in July 2027 for a beautiful week-long retreat of Christmas crafting, shopping, treats and friendship. We have a wonderful agenda planned for you featuring a field trip, two days of workshops with Nicki (two BRAND NEW Christmas kits), a cross stitching day with Sarah of The Stitchery Sisters (to include kit for BRAND NEW Christmas design) and two Christma projects with Sue from Homespun with Love.

Saturday 24th July will involve an off-site field trip which will be confirmed in due course. Travel to/from plus refreshments is included in your retreat ticket.

The last day of our retreat, Friday 30th July, falls on World Embroidery Day when guests will be given a slow stitching project. We will gather for World Embroidery Day at an independent venue so that I can open up a few extra places for local stitchers to join us. I will serve afternoon tea and there will be a private mini brocante with one or two of my favourite sellers.

Payment is taken in full for the week and covers the cost of all workshops, kits and a light sandwich lunch each day. Payment does not include travel costs, accommodation or meals eaten offsite. Dietary requirements can be provided for as long as we are given plenty of notice. We are also able to advise on accommodation that previous guests have found to be acceptable.

IMPORTANT: PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE CURRENT TRAVEL INSURANCE SHOULD YOU BE UNABLE TO ATTEND. PAYMENTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.

Please also note that The Festival of Quilts; a globally acclaimed quilt fair, takes place the weekend that Christmas in July closes. It is a great fair to visit for quilters and stitchers alike; just an hour’s direct train ride to Birmingham. Make sure you add on enough time in your trip to visit!
