Embroidery for Beginners: A Barrow full of Flowers Thursday 6th June

75.00

Thursday 6th June 10:30am to 4pm

One of my original designs; a little rustic wheelbarrow filled with flowers. Very much like the one in the picture, stitched on beautiful antique linen.

Starting at 10:30am and finishing at 4pm we will spend the day learning how to applique the wheelbarrow (a method of attaching one piece of fabric to another) and then fill it with hand embroidered flowers using a muted colour palette. The class is suitable for beginners as the design uses a handful of simple stitches with a focus on achieving colour, texture and movement.

The finished piece will be small, like all of my work, printed to the centre of a 10” square piece of antique linen.

If you are not able to join me for a happy day of stitching (and a delicious lunch) this design will be available to order as kit from the end of June AFTER the workshop has been delivered.
