The Magpie and the Wardrobe: Marie Antoinette Dolls 18th April
The Magpie and the Wardrobe: Marie Antoinette Dolls 18th April
Join us at The Stitchery studio in the Northamptonshire countryside for a decadently relaxing day creating dolls with artist Sam McKechnie (of the Magpie and the Wardrobe) inspired by the fashion icon of her time; Marie Antoinette.
Saturday 18th April 2026 11am - 3pm, in Ecton Northamptonshire. Ample parking on-site. Equidistant from Wellingborough and Northampton train stations.
(Magpie doll collectors please note that the photograph is of a doll from my own collection, bought years ago. The ladies we make are brand new will have huge hairstyles with lots of lace and froth!)
We will start at 11am and finish at 3pm, working on our own beautiful fanciful dolls with big hair and lacy skirts. Sandwiches will be served at lunchtime with, of course, lots of cake! Ticket price includes the full day of tuition with lunch and day-long refreshments.
Make a treat of it with a day of embroidery too - book a two-day ticket and save £20 here.
